Tony (Antony) Bakke is a Professor of Pathology and the
Scientific Director of the Special Immunology and Flow Cytometry
section at the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU)
in Portland, Oregon. He is a 2004 Diplomate of the
American Board of Medical Laboratory Immunology. He earned
a BS in Biochemistry at Washington State University, and a PhD
in Biochemistry at the California Institute of Technology.
He did post-doctoral work at the Department of Cell and
Developmental Immunology at the Scripps Clinic in La Jolla.
He was an Assistant Professor at USC, and has been at OHSU as
Assistant, Associate and Full Professor since 1984.
Tony has over 75 publications, primarily in the detection and
analysis of human cells by flow cytometric methods.
